“When I migrated to Australia I brought my love of teff with me. Growing up in Ethiopia, teff was our family staple, especially for injera, a traditional Ethiopian flatbread.

“Two of my sister-in-laws have coeliac disease, so I introduced them to teff because it’s gluten free and super healthy. I shared it amongst friends as well, and I use it for all sorts of recipes with my kids. After receiving so much positive feedback I knew more Australians would love to try it.

“Also, I was looking for a change after ten years of corporate employment. So, following the birth of my second child, I decided to take the plunge and launch my own range of organic teff products. “I called the business Wildnee; it loosely translates as ‘wildborn.’ I’m already planning more teff products to release on the market. I’m sure if you give it a try, you’ll love the taste and health benefits of teff as much as I do!”
